Terms of use

Using Nextechly means accepting these terms. They are short because the site does little: it gives you free tools that run in your browser. Last updated 23 October 2026.

1. The licence we grant you

You may use every tool on this site free of charge, without an account, for personal and commercial work. That licence covers using the tools; it does not transfer any right to copy the site’s design, wording or source and republish it as your own service.

2. Your files and your responsibility

  • You need the right to process whatever file you open. Nextechly does not check that, because it cannot see the file.
  • Output is your responsibility. Before submitting a resized photo, a converted image or a cropped portrait to a government portal, employer or examination body, confirm the result against the stated requirement yourself. A tool passing a size check is not an acceptance guarantee.
  • Keep a copy of the original. Some operations are lossy by nature, and a discarded original cannot be recovered from this site because it was never sent here.

3. No warranty

The tools are provided “as they are”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of any reported number. Availability is not guaranteed: this is a static site run without a support rota or an SLA. To the extent the law allows, the operators are not liable for losses arising from use, including a rejected application or a file that needed redoing.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to process material you have no right to handle, to forge a document or signature, or to attack the service. Because processing is local, these rules cannot be technically enforced from here — they are stated plainly and are the basis on which access is offered.

5. Advertising and third parties

No advertising network is active. When one is, an ad-free path will not be sold: the tools stay usable while a consent choice is declined. Theprivacy page governs what a visit records; these terms govern how you may use the site.

6. Links, tools and libraries

Where a utility relies on an open-source library, that library keeps its own licence. Third-party links are not endorsements, and their terms are theirs.

7. Changes

These terms may be revised as the site grows. Continued use after a change means the version on this page applies. Nothing here will be altered to retroactively claim rights over your files.

8. Who operates this site, and which law applies

Nextechly is run as an independent project, not by a registered company. A governing-law clause has deliberately been left out rather than inventing a jurisdiction or an entity that does not exist. That section, together with a contact channel, is added once an operator entity is established — see the contact page for the same open item.
