Privacy policy
Nextechly has no user accounts, no upload endpoint and no analytics. This page describes exactly what is and is not recorded. Last updated 23 October 2026.
Your files
Tools that work on a file do so with your browser’s own file, canvas and image APIs. The bytes are read from disk into memory in the tab you opened, processed there, and written back when you save the result.
- Nothing is uploaded. The site contains no form that sends file contents anywhere, and there is no server-side endpoint that could accept one.
- Nothing is stored. No file, file name, dimension or size value is written to a database or a log by Nextechly code.
- Nothing persists. Results live in page memory; closing or reloading the tab discards them. Preview images use in-memory object URLs that are released as soon as you pick another file.
- No browser storage is used for file data — no cookies, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB.
This is a property of how the code is written, not a certified security claim. A compromised or malicious version of this site could behave differently, which is why the source is what should be reviewed rather than this sentence.
What your visit does record
The pages are delivered over a content delivery network. Serving a file requires standard request metadata — IP address, the browser and device string it sends, the requested URL, a timestamp and any referring site. Hosting providers keep that in access logs as a matter of course; Nextechly does not control how long their retention policy lasts and has not read an auditor’s summary of it.
On top of that, the current build adds nothing: no analytics script, no fingerprinting, no social embeds, no third-party fonts or CDNs, and no cookies set by this site.
Advertising, which is not active yet
The plan is to fund hosting with advertising, most likely through Monetag and possibly Google AdSense. Neither is installed today and no ad-related script runs on this site.
One decision is already fixed rather than left for later: advertising will not run on tool pages at all during the initial launch. A tool page is the only place on this site where anything about your files exists in the document — its name, its dimensions, a preview address your browser could be asked to fetch. A script from another company placed on that page could read all three. Keeping ad code off those pages means the question is never raised, so advertising is confined to content pages such as the homepage and, in future, guides.
When advertising is switched on, this page will be rewritten first:
- A consent prompt will appear before any personalised ad cookie is set, and declining will still leave the tools usable.
- Ad partners will be able to see ordinary request data about a visit to a page that carries a unit. That is the part of this page that changes when ads go live.
- Units never appear on a tool page at all, never inside a working area, never imitate a control and never trigger a popunder. Reserved sizes are fixed so an ad cannot shift the page.
Requests about your data
Because Nextechly keeps no personal records of its own, an access or erasure request has nothing to act on beyond what a host’s access logs may contain.
Known gap
There is no published contact address yet, so a formal request cannot currently reach anyone — see the contact page. Resolving that is a launch blocker, and this section will name the channel and the response time once one exists.
Children
The site is not directed at children and is not designed to collect information from anyone. It is not a certified COPPA-compliant service and does not claim to be one; there is simply no mechanism here that gathers personal information.
Changes to this page
Material edits get a new date above and, once a contact channel exists, an announced change note. The version on this page is the version in force.
