Everyday tools. Effortlessly useful.
Nextechly is a small set of free utilities for the annoying parts of handling files — size limits, dimension requirements and formats a form will not accept.
The problem this solves
Most of these tools exist because of one situation: an application form that says “upload a passport photo, JPEG, under 200 KB” and a photo that is none of those things. Fixing that usually means opening an image editor, or uploading a personal document to a stranger’s server and hoping it gets deleted.
Nextechly takes the second option off the table. Each tool runs entirely inside your browser using the File and Canvas APIs, so the file never leaves the device while it is being inspected or changed.
Where the project stands
This is an early release. 4 tools arepublished, and 5 more are listed in the directory roadmap without links until they genuinely work. Nothing here claims to be finished when it is not.
The plan is a narrow catalog done properly: one page, one job, no accounts. A directory of a hundred near-identical converters would be easier to publish and worse to use, so it is not the goal.
What is not true about this site
- It is not a company with a registered office or a support team. It is an independent project.
- It is not an AI product. The current tools read and transform files with browser APIs and no model is involved.
- It is not ad-free forever: advertising is planned to pay hosting, and the rules for it are written down on the privacy page before the first unit appears.
- It makes no security certification claim. Files stay in the browser because that is how the code works, not because an auditor verified anything.
How the site is built
The pages are statically generated with Astro and served as plain files. Interactive tool controls are isolated React components that load only on the pages that need them. The tool catalog itself is one typed registry, which is what keeps navigation, the sitemap and the pages from drifting apart as tools are added.
Corrections are welcome
If a tool reports a wrong number or a page states something inaccurately, that is worth fixing. See the contact page for the channels that are set up today.
